Cookie Policy

Systems Bureau currently keeps browser technology simple: the public site does not intentionally set cookies or use analytics or advertising trackers.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website or service stores in a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and device identifiers. They can support essential functions, remember choices, measure site use, or help deliver advertising.

2. Our current use

The current Systems Bureau website is a static site and does not intentionally set first-party cookies, use local storage, run analytics scripts, or include marketing and advertising pixels. There is therefore no cookie preference center or consent banner on the current site.

Our hosting and network providers may process ordinary request data needed to deliver and protect the site, as described in the Privacy Policy. That technical processing does not mean the site itself maintains a large cookie inventory.

3. Future checkout and third-party services

When checkout is connected, independent checkout or payment services may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technology for security, fraud prevention, session continuity, and payment processing. Their own notices and controls may apply in that environment.

If Systems Bureau later adds functional, analytics, or marketing technologies, this policy will be updated. Where applicable law requires consent for a non-essential technology, we will implement an appropriate choice before activating it for affected visitors.

4. Common categories

Technologies may be described using these categories if they are introduced:

  • Strictly necessary: required for security, checkout, or a service you request.
  • Functional: remember optional settings or preferences.
  • Analytics: help understand how people use the site.
  • Marketing: measure campaigns or personalize advertising.

Only the first category may be relevant to the planned checkout. The other categories are not currently implemented.

5. Your controls

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies and clear site data. Blocking a strictly necessary technology may prevent checkout, security, or another requested function from working. Browser controls vary, so consult your browser's help documentation for current instructions.

6. Changes and contact

We will update this policy when the site's technology changes. Questions can be sent to hello@systemsbureau.com.
