Terms of Service

These terms explain the rules that apply when you use the Systems Bureau website or purchase one of our digital resources.

Last updated: August 19, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using this website or submitting an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and any product-specific terms shown before purchase. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or purchase a product.

2. Eligibility

You must have the legal capacity to enter into the transaction under the law that applies to you. If you purchase for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

3. Products and information

Systems Bureau provides digital products and educational resources, including guides, playbooks, templates, frameworks, checklists, and related materials. Product descriptions, previews, screenshots, and examples are intended to explain what you will receive. Minor presentational differences may occur because files, software, or platforms are updated.

Please review the product description and any stated technical requirements before ordering.

4. Orders

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An order is accepted when the checkout system confirms successful payment and makes the product available, or when another clear acceptance confirmation is provided. A pending payment or automated receipt does not necessarily mean payment has been accepted.

We may cancel or refuse a transaction before acceptance where we reasonably believe it is fraudulent, unauthorized, affected by a technical error, or based on clearly incorrect pricing. If payment has already been taken for a cancelled order, it will be returned through the applicable payment method.

5. Prices, currency, and taxes

The price, currency, and any applicable taxes or charges are displayed in the checkout flow before you confirm a purchase. Prices and promotions may change for future purchases. A promotion applies only under its stated terms and does not create a right to the same price later.

6. Digital delivery

Products are delivered digitally after payment confirmation, subject to occasional processing or security delays. Please read the Digital Delivery Policy for delivery methods, timing, and troubleshooting.

7. Refunds and guarantees

Where a product is sold with an advertised satisfaction or money-back guarantee (such as our 14-day money-back guarantee), that guarantee applies as stated. In other situations, digital product purchases are subject to the terms and fair exceptions described in the Refund Policy.

8. License

A purchase gives you a limited license to use the digital product. It does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property. Unless product-specific terms say otherwise, the Digital Product License applies.

9. Intellectual property

The Systems Bureau name and branding, website design and copy, product files, graphics, original frameworks, and other materials are owned by Systems Bureau or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Rights not expressly granted remain reserved.

10. Prohibited use

You may not:

  • redistribute, publicly share, or resell paid product files without permission;
  • upload products to public file-sharing or download services;
  • share one purchase broadly across unrelated users or use it as an unlimited team license;
  • remove copyright or proprietary notices;
  • use the site or products unlawfully, fraudulently, or to infringe another person's rights;
  • attempt to bypass security, disrupt the site, introduce malicious code, or gain unauthorized access; or
  • use automated scraping or extraction in a way prohibited by law, these terms, or technical access controls.

11. Third-party services

The site may rely on independent providers for checkout, payment processing, digital delivery, hosting, analytics, email, or other infrastructure. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply when you use their services. Systems Bureau is not responsible for an independent service's acts, availability, or changes outside our reasonable control, but this does not limit responsibility that applicable law places on us.

12. Educational information and results

Our products provide general information and education, not a promise of a particular outcome. Strategies, examples, frameworks, techniques, and case studies do not guarantee revenue, sales, profit, conversion rates, leads, or any other business result. Outcomes depend on implementation, context, market conditions, platforms, and many factors outside our control. Read the Disclaimer for more detail.

13. Availability and changes

We may update, replace, pause, or discontinue parts of the website and may issue reasonable corrections or updates to resources. We will not arbitrarily remove delivery rights already granted for a completed purchase, subject to technical limits, security needs, product-specific terms, and applicable law. Keep reasonable backup copies where the license permits them.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Systems Bureau is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the site or products, including lost opportunity, revenue, data, or profit. Where liability may lawfully be limited, our total liability relating to a purchase will not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

15. Your responsibility

You are responsible for how you apply the information and for ensuring your use complies with applicable law and third-party rules. If your unlawful use or material breach causes a third-party claim against Systems Bureau, you agree to be responsible for the resulting reasonable losses and costs to the extent permitted by law and proportionate to your conduct.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law that validly applies to the transaction and the parties. Any mandatory protections available to you as a consumer remain unaffected. A specific governing jurisdiction has not yet been designated and must be confirmed before commerce launches.

17. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms as the site, products, or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version. Changes apply from publication and do not retroactively alter a completed purchase unless required by law or expressly agreed.
