Digital Product License

Your purchase gives you a practical right to use the resource and apply what you learn. It does not transfer the right to distribute the product itself.

1. The license you receive

Unless a product clearly states different terms, purchasing a Systems Bureau digital product grants the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal or single-customer use. Systems Bureau retains ownership of the product and its intellectual property.

2. What you may do

Under the standard license, you may:

  • download and use the purchased resource;
  • store reasonable backup copies for your own use;
  • use the material in your own personal work or business activities;
  • apply the concepts, strategies, frameworks, checklists, and processes to your own work; and
  • print a reasonable copy for your own use where the format permits it.

You may apply what you learn. This license protects the copyrighted files and their substantial expression. It does not give Systems Bureau ownership of your business, your results, or the original work you create merely by using an idea or workflow learned from a resource.

3. What you may not do

Without written permission or a product-specific license, you may not:

  • resell, sublicense, or redistribute the digital product;
  • share the full product publicly or upload it to a file-sharing or download site;
  • give copies to unrelated customers, audiences, or other third parties;
  • repackage the product, or a substantially similar reproduction, and sell or present it as your own;
  • remove copyright, attribution, or proprietary markings;
  • claim authorship of Systems Bureau material; or
  • treat one purchase as an unlimited team, agency, classroom, or enterprise license.

Internal use by colleagues is not included unless the product page or a separate license expressly permits it. Contact us if you need broader use rights.

4. Limited quotation and reference

You may quote or reference a reasonable, limited portion where legally permitted, provided you do not substantially reproduce the product or use excerpts as a substitute for it. Appropriate attribution should be given when the context calls for it. Nothing in this license restricts fair use, fair dealing, or another statutory exception that applies to you.

5. Product-specific terms

Some templates, assets, bundles, or other products may include separate terms, such as a team, client-work, or commercial-use license. If clearly stated product-specific terms conflict with this standard license, those specific terms govern that resource.

6. Ending the license

The license ends if you materially breach its terms and do not correct a correctable breach after notice. When it ends, you must stop using and distributing the protected product files and delete copies you are not legally required to keep. Rights and obligations that are intended to continue—including ownership and accrued claims—remain in effect.
